I LEARNED TO BUILD A WALL WITHOUT MORTAR Back in my youth, I helped an old farmer rebuild a dry stone wall that a winter storm had flattened. No cement, just stones and patience. I wanted it finished fast, so I grabbed the biggest, prettiest stones and stacked them high where everyone could see. However, he quietly lifted them all off again. Big ones go at the bottom, he said, and every stone has to touch its neighbours. Then he showed me the part that really holds a wall up, the small rough stones packed tight into the middle where nobody ever looks. By the end of the job my hands were raw, but that wall felt like it could stand for a lifetime. I think about him every time I add $XRP… I build slowly, a stone at a time, mostly on quiet days when nobody is cheering. The pretty top course gets the attention, but my position rests on the hidden filling, the reasons I wrote down long before anyone noticed. A wall built in a hurry, falls in the next storm. Mine is still going up…
