DTCC JUST PUSHED ANOTHER MAJOR UPGRADE INTO 2027. Does this delay $XRP or $RLUSD? Little to zero direct impact. Here’s why. CNS (Continuous Net Settlement) operates within NSCC, a DTCC subsidiary. It’s the plumbing behind U.S. equity clearing and settlement, netting obligations so every trade doesn’t require separate settlement. What changed? Nov. 16, 2026 → February–March 2027. DTCC wants more production parallel testing through year-end before cutting over. Makes sense. A delayed upgrade is frustrating. A failed cutover in U.S. securities clearing could be catastrophic. What about XRP and RLUSD? Different infrastructure. Different dependencies. This doesn’t directly delay Ripple’s payment rails, RLUSD settlement, XRPL activity or XRP liquidity. Could future integrations depend on NSCC modernization? Sure. But this notice doesn’t establish that. The takeaway? Wall Street’s plumbing is being rebuilt in stages. Not every delay holds up the entire financial system. Read the notices. Separate the rails. Connect the dots. Follow me for the breakdowns
