Monero hides everything by default. Zcash gives a choice. Beldex is trying to build an environment around privacy, not just a coin. Monero Privacy is mandatory. Ring signatures, stealth addresses, RingCT: sender, recipient, and amount are hidden on every transaction. No transparent mode. High fungibility, strong resistance to analysis. The cost is almost zero programmability. It is money, not an application platform. Mature and battle-tested, but it does not go far beyond payments and wallets. Zcash Privacy is optional. You can use a t-address (everything visible) or a z-address (zk-SNARKs). Viewing keys allow selective disclosure. Easier for compliance and institutions. Strong cryptography, but historically most volume moved through transparent addresses. Programmability is limited. This is also money first, with a more flexible confidentiality model. Beldex UTXO privacy at the network level, same as BDX, now extended to any Privacy Token. Sender, recipient, amount, and balance do not sit in the open. The goal is different: not only a coin, but a stack. Extension wallet, Web3JS SDK, BChat, BelNet, browser, BNS. A developer issues a private asset and builds an app on it without standing up their own L1. $1M in grants. Account addresses and an EVM sidechain are planned. Privacy first, compatibility second. The difference is focus. Monero maximizes the privacy of money. Zcash gives a transparency lever. @BeldexCoin is trying to make privacy a layer where you can issue assets and applications, not only send transfers.Monero and Zcash have years in production. Beldex is on testnet with tokens and an SDK. Comparing maturity is early. Comparing direction is already possible.
