Who said bear markets kill on-chain activity? @SuiNetwork weekly transactions are up 321.5% since the start of 2026. From ~17M a week in early January to 70M+ now, with a peak of 75.88M in the week of September 21. And this is happening in a bear market. So what does it actually mean when an L1 grows like this while the market is down? In a bull market, activity is easy to come by. Hype, incentives and airdrop farming can fill any chart. In a bear market, most of that leaves. Attention drops, liquidity gets thinner, and short-term traffic goes quiet. When a network keeps growing in that environment, it usually points to two simple things: apps on it are being used, and the team and builders keep shipping instead of waiting for better times. And Sui has been shipping everyday. Just a few things that went live or hit milestones this year: • A 99% cut to non-refundable storage fees. • Native USDC on Sui connected to 29 chains via CCTP V2. • USDC on Sui coming to Samsung Wallet on 82M Galaxy devices in the U.S. • The first native quantum-safe transaction on Sui Devnet. • Slush wallet: address book, plus funding from 25 chains, cards or Apple Pay. Sui has also introduced gasless stablecoin transfers, removing the need for users to hold a separate SUI balance just to send supported stablecoins. It’s a small change in the user experience that can make a real difference. None of this is flashy for its own sake. Each one removes a step that used to make crypto harder than it should be. In our view, Sui is still underrated relative to what is being built there. As a Sui validator and ecosystem partner, we see this work up close, and we have a lot of respect for the Sui team, the builders and the community behind it. We've been supporting Sui, and we'll keep doing it!
