the real value of privacy technology in crypto isnt just hiding transactions its making it possible to verify information that would otherwise be too sensitive to share publicly thats why @primus_labs has caught my attention crypto already makes moving money and accessing defi incredibly easy, but proving financial information is still a challenge how do you confirm that a borrower has sufficient income without exposing their entire financial history? how do you check stablecoin reserves without revealing unnecessary private information? how can businesses use onchain payments without publishing every detail of their operations? primus is working on these problems through two core technologies zkTLS helps verify information from existing web sources without disclosing all the underlying data FHE allows computations to run on encrypted information without requiring it to be decrypted first and there are already some notable milestones behind the project $6.5m raised across pre seed and seed rounds backed by VanEck YZi Labs and Samsung NEXT among others $72m+ in assets verified through Primus proof of reserves 4 production projects across stablecoins and real world assets with BNB Chain as part of the ecosystem and teams like Unitas Labs United Stables and AllScale exploring practical applications there are several potential use cases beyond reserve verification what interests me most is the bigger shift this could enable instead of putting more sensitive information onchain we could make more claims verifiable while revealing less of the data behind them of course adoption and real world reliability still need to prove themselves but this is a much more fundamental problem than simply adding another token to the market im keeping @primus_labs on my radar to see how far these technologies can go
