⚠️ CLAUDE HELPED HACK CHROME — GOOGLE HAS ALREADY RELEASED PATCHES #Anthropic researchers used an experimental version of Claude to demonstrate how a malicious webpage could bypass Chrome's security protections and execute a program on a Mac. In their test, the Calculator app launched without any additional user interaction. Google has since released 52 security fixes, including four critical ones. Researchers used #Claude and OpenAI's Codex Security to help identify vulnerabilities. Google's security update The findings extended beyond #Chrome. Claude also helped researchers access Safari browsing history and cookies, extract data from a locked Pixel 9, and uncover serious vulnerabilities in Linux and Windows. According to Anthropic, the reported vulnerabilities have since been addressed.
