the real challenge for DeFi isn’t just proving that assets exist. it’s proving they exist without exposing everything behind them. that’s what makes @primus_labs interesting to me. most reserve reports show a snapshot of assets, but financial data is more complicated than a number on a dashboard. offchain balances, onchain assets and sensitive account information all need to be considered. Primus approaches this through zkTLS and FHE. zkTLS helps verify data from Web2 sources without revealing the underlying information, while FHE allows computations on encrypted data without exposing the original values during processing. put them together and you get an interesting direction for Proof of Reserves and confidential finance. the goal isn’t to hide everything or ask people to trust another report. it’s to make important claims verifiable while keeping private financial details protected. what caught my attention is the potential to extend this beyond reserve checks. balances, transactions and even financial strategies can reveal a lot about users, especially as more activity moves onchain. privacy shouldn’t mean giving up verification, and transparency shouldn’t mean exposing every detail. that’s the balance i want to see confidential DeFi get right. still curious how Primus will handle more complex operations like yield calculations while keeping sensitive inputs encrypted. @primus_labs
