From an anecdotal perspective, knowing hundreds of whales in the space, a large majority of those I've spoken to are "waiting for BTC clarity" before allocating heavily back into coins, or picking up new ones. Now, if that many are waiting for the same confirmation (and likely a much broader group shares that view), and it arrives within days (BTC likes to impulse when confirming a move), what do you think happens to the coins they're watching? They will multiply in value very quickly. That's why I believe you're better off assessing risk/reward from a valuation perspective and gradually DCAing into positions you have conviction in, rather than trying to bottom tick your buys. Do you believe in the token's thesis, irrespective of short term hype, catalysts or KOLs pushing it? To the point where even being underwater in the short term wouldn't shake your higher time frame conviction? Or maybe even to the point where lower prices excite you as your grow your stack? That's always the most important question.
