Market media is a designed trap to get people to stay stuck in a loop and never make money The 4 traps of market makers: 1. Gambling 2. Peer pressure 3. Greed 4. Fear 1. GAMBLING: This is the first lure to get you in. Example: Get rich quick, scams, pump and dumps, ect. 2. PEER PRESSURE: This is how they get you to stick around. Example: Ridicule if you take profit and ridicule if you don't, toxic maxis, peer groups pushing risky behavior, ect. 3. GREED: This is how they keep the carrot in front of us. Example: Nothing is ever enough, everyone is making more money than me, constant hype men, ignoring genuine warning signs 4. FEAR: This is how they keep us stuck in the loop. Example: What if I miss out? Fear of selling to early, Fear of decision making, panic selling in buy zones, fear propaganda and fear of peers --- The perfect traps are set. And we will fall into them depending on our individual personalities We all have a predominant lure, one that especially calls to us to trap us My weakness is fear. Not of low prices. Specifically it's the "fear of missing out" That is my personality. I want to be everywhere with everyone doing everything all the time. Your personality will come out in your trading It's something I have had to work with and will continue to work with for the remainder of my trading career That said, I know my weakness, but I also know my strengths. Gambling is NOT a lure for me AT ALL. I am cautious and planning by nature. This HELPS me in my trading career. See? Knowing myself is my edge. Everyone is going to be different. What's your predominant lure? What is your strength? Knowing yourself will help you in markets. Because yes markets are facts and figures, but once you get that down it always come down to this: yourself vs yourself Trading is making moves against yourself and your weakness. The more you know yourself, the more you will know your trade.
