$AIN is up 252.5% in 24H, pushing @infinityg_ai's market cap to around $26M. But this isn't a clean breakout story. The token crashed roughly 86% in a single day back in September. Now, an active buyback campaign is helping fuel a sharp recovery. Infinity Ground is building an AI-powered development platform around “vibe coding.” Users describe a Web3 app in natural language, and collaborative AI agents help generate smart contracts, application logic, the UI and deployment. The broader ecosystem includes an AI App Store for publishing and monetizing apps, alongside a planned dedicated blockchain called ING Network. $AIN is designed for platform payments, fees, staking, premium access and governance, with network gas utility planned for the future. The current rally has a more immediate catalyst, though. After the September crash, which the team attributed to a third-party operational error, Infinity Ground announced a new strategic funding round aimed at token remediation buybacks, ecosystem development and product work. According to the team's updates, a designated wallet has already purchased roughly $3M worth of $AIN, with buybacks still ongoing. That support, combined with renewed interest in AI-powered app development, appears to be driving the recovery. The numbers show just how aggressive the move has become: 24-hour gain: +252.5% Price: around $0.14 Market cap: approximately $26M Circulating supply: around 185.3M The September crash also remains important context. A buyback can support market demand, but it doesn't guarantee a lasting recovery. With futures activity and open interest elevated, leverage can amplify both the rally and any reversal. There is a legitimate product thesis here. AI agents that help people build and deploy Web3 applications could lower the technical barrier to creating onchain products. But today's price action is being driven heavily by buyback expectations, speculative positioning and the AI narrative. There is no major new product launch with detailed usage metrics behind this move. For $AIN, the next test is whether the recovery leads to sustained product usage and ecosystem growth once the immediate buyback catalyst fades. After a 252% surge following an 86% crash, volatility is part of the trade. The recovery is worth tracking, but it isn't proof that the underlying project has recovered at the same pace.
