Honestly, this feels more like a marketing strategy to convince people to sell their Bitcoin than an objective take on where the market is heading. We’re moving towards a digital first world look at @PhonePe and other digital payment apps. People are going cashless because technology makes transactions faster, easier, and more convenient. The same shift is happening with Bitcoin and digital assets: faster global transactions, borderless payments, financial accessibility, and the ability to transfer value without relying entirely on traditional intermediaries. Every technology has limitations and risks, but that doesn’t mean we should dismiss its potential. Technology evolves to solve problems. The real question isn’t whether Bitcoin has flaws, but whether its long term utility and adoption can continue to grow. Judging an emerging technology solely by its current market performance might mean missing the bigger picture. AI agents will need a way to pay for services, access data, and execute tasks autonomously. Protocols like @base x402 enable internet native payments between AI agents and services. As AI agents become more capable and move towards superintelligence, the need for programmable payments, machine to machine transactions, and permissionless financial infrastructure could grow significantly. I don’t think Bitcoin, blockchain, or crypto will simply disappear because AI is becoming more valuable. If anything, the rise of AI agents could create new use cases for blockchain and digital assets. The real question isn’t whether AI or crypto will win. It’s how the two will evolve together to build the next generation of the internet.
