But as these agents begin interacting across ecosystems, one challenge stands out: how can platforms verify who stands behind an agent without forcing it to change networks? Without shared verification infrastructure, every platform risks creating separate identity checks, adding friction and fragmenting trust. @Concordium is addressing this through its Agent Registry and Verified by Concordium badge. According to its October 2026 update, six platforms were reading the registry, which had grown to 3,828 registered agents. The badge is designed to support verification across more than 200 chains, including Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum One, and Polygon. This approach offers three potential advantages: 1. Less duplication: A shared framework can reduce the need for separate identity verification systems across integrations. 2. Greater interoperability: Agents can retain their existing wallets and operate on their native chains while their verification is checked across supported ecosystems. 3. Clearer accountability: Verification helps establish the verified human or business behind an agent, giving platforms a clearer basis for assessing who is accountable. Identity verification doesn't guarantee an agent is safe or reliable, but it provides an important foundation for trust as agents interact and transact across networks. The goal isn't to put every agent on one blockchain. It's to make identity verification work across the blockchains they already use. That's the opportunity Concordium is pursuing with its Agent Registry.
