Last week Bitcoin went on a ride, and the loudest crash calls all missed. It opened Monday at $82,007, jumped to $84,856 on Wednesday, fell to $79,107 on Saturday, and closed the week at $80,053. Down 2.4%. Ted Pillows (@TedPillows) had the best week. He called the push to $83-84K, then the dip under $80K and the bounce back. His line was "hold $80K on the weekly". It held by $53. Benjamin Cowen (@benjamincowen) said a week under $83K keeps the bears in charge. It closed almost $3,000 under. Rekt Capital (@rektcapital) called $82,200 the ceiling, and Bitcoin hasn't closed above it since. Kyle Doops (@kyledoops) was right twice too. His $83K target hit on Tuesday, and his $84,279 target hit on Wednesday. He also warned that losing $79,700 opens the door to $68-72K. Bitcoin dipped under it on Saturday, then bounced. Fefe (@FefeDemeny) had the sharpest single call. Right near the top, he called the jump a trap and said a dump was coming. Bitcoin fell from $84,856 to $79,107 by Saturday. His bigger target, around $67K, is still open. The crash calls missed. Crypto Rover (@cryptorover) had a buy zone at $72-77K, and his "Black Monday" crash never came. Ran Neuner (@cryptomanran) is still waiting for a 20-30% drop before he buys. My view for this week: $80K is a coin flip, and the Fed on Wednesday decides it. A close back above $83K would prove the bears wrong. The lesson: the people who gave a clear price line beat the people who shouted "crash". Who are you following this week?
