A funded bounty is not a guaranteed paycheck That distinction matters with @vangrid_io Its bounty docs describe a requester funding a specific capture in USDC before contributors submit. Several people can submit, but the requester selects one. Payment follows acceptance. I like the starting point: someone has a specific data need and puts money behind it. But contributors still risk spending time on footage that isn't chosen. For me, clear capture briefs and acceptance criteria matter as much as the escrow. Knowing the money exists answers one question. Knowing what makes your footage worth buying answers another. That's the part of Vangrid's spatial data marketplace I'll be watching.
