Yea that’s why I don’t buy world indexes anymore. Just keep your money in usd and invest in the American stocks unless you have early local plays Most world indexes and developing country indexes have underperformed US stock indices by a large margin over the last decade I think it’s prolly largely due to corruption and nepotism and such which is rampant in third world countries. Kill the goose laying the golden egg for a quick payday kinda mentality. Myopic investment habits.
