The part of Grvt Earn I find most interesting is who ultimately pays the yield. @grvt_io says its planned Earn upgrade will target returns from underlying asset cash flows, including interest, premiums and invoice-related income. Asset-supplying partners are due to be named at launch. That gives the research a concrete direction: follow the return back to the activity funding it. An invoice can be paid late. A borrower can default. Putting those claims onchain makes them easier to distribute, but the underlying obligations still have to be met. For me, the partner reveal should explain more than who supplied the assets. It should show where income comes from and who absorbs losses if payments fall short. That would make the yield easier to evaluate. Until then, any advertised return remains a target, not a promise.
