The interesting part nobody's talking about: if Yellow's AI agents start settling in XRP at scale, MoonPay's existing XRP rails become the natural on-ramp for humans funding those agent economies. That's the adjacency that would make a three-way actually matter. It would turn XRP into the settlement currency for machine-to-machine commerce. Every AI agent that needs to pay for compute, data, or another agent's output would need XRP on hand as working inventory, which creates sticky, recurring demand instead of one-off speculation. And because Yellow batches those trades off-chain before hitting the Ledger, you'd get volume without clogging the network — the Ledger just records the net result. The catch is it all hinges on AI agents actually generating enough economic activity to matter. Right now it's fourteen and a half million microtransactions and about six thousand closed deals, which is a proof of concept, not a market. If that scales to billions, XRP demand could look fundamentally different. If it stays niche, it's a nice narrative with modest volume behind it.I could dig into what the realistic throughput math looks like if Yellow hit, say, a billion dollars a day in agent volume.
