Tokenization alone does not change finance. The real challenge is distribution: who gets access, how the product is structured, and whether users can actually verify what they own. That is what makes GRVT’s direction worth watching. The fixed-income market is estimated at around $160T, but many of its more sophisticated opportunities have traditionally been built for institutions, large funds, and investors with high entry barriers. GRVT (@grvt_io)is trying to create a simpler onchain access layer through tokenized fixed-income products, with eligible assets targeting returns of up to 11% APY. The number itself is not the main story, and it is not guaranteed. The more important question is whether users can understand the underlying strategy, the source of the return, and the risks involved. GRVT’s self-custodial design also changes the relationship between the platform and the user. Instead of treating assets as something that simply disappears into an intermediary’s balance sheet, the model is built around greater user control. The trading connection adds another layer, but it is not the whole thesis. To me, GRVT is trying to turn institutional-style financial products into something more accessible, transparent, and composable onchain. That is a much more meaningful goal than simply putting another asset on a blockchain. @grvt_io
