BlackRock's IBIT put $565.7 million into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs for October 19-23 while every other fund combined bled $264.5 million, and $BTC is sitting at 80,827, down 0.4% on the day. 1⃣ The demand is one fund deep. That week's $301.2 million net inflow only exists because IBIT carried it. Then IBIT itself printed a $110.3 million outflow on October 23, so even the anchor wobbled. Strip BlackRock out and the complex is a seller. 2⃣ Rules got clearer, price didn't care. The OCC finalized its stablecoin reward framework, effective January 18, 2027, dropping a proposed presumption against third-party rewards. Issuers still can't pay yield directly, so exchange-funded USDC rewards keep their room. Banks are still pushing back on deposit migration. 3⃣ The plumbing keeps leaking. Initia paused its main chain and all connected rollups after an unknown MoveVM flaw, with roughly $2.7 million in AUSD, ETH and USDC reportedly leaving the network. Separately, 40 Tron addresses tied to CoinDCX moved about 15.99 million USDT after 88 customer deposits sat unswept for months. CoinDCX says it absorbed the loss, without a disclosed figure. Flat tape, one fund holding the bid, and two operational failures in a day. Positioning here leans on IBIT staying bid, and that's a thinner assumption than the inflow number suggests.
