Security shouldn’t be something crypto users have to worry about only after a new threat emerges. As blockchain technology evolves the cryptography protecting digital assets needs to evolve with it. Quantum computing makes that long term preparation even more important. That’s the direction @quipnetwork is exploring with Quip Accounts using hash based post-quantum signatures to bring quantum resistant security into programmable onchain accounts. The idea is to build stronger protection into the account experience itself rather than leaving users to manage every security upgrade on their own. For me this is an important part of making crypto ready for the future. Security, usability and scalability need to develop together as adoption grows. @quipnetwork is working toward a future where stronger cryptographic foundations become part of everyday blockchain activity.
