Nobody can tell you which job, business or investment will still work in a year. Or which country will stay safe. @Route2FI said it well: the old game had fixed rules, and now no career or investment method feels safe. AI is rewriting the rules. @rektdiomedes explained the answer. Things move so fast that even investing is changing. People now make gold through alchemy, and the whole internet can be hacked. So you can't plan around one business model. The map is unclear too. No country is clearly safe, and nobody knows where the next problems will start. Assets you can't easily move around the world become a burden, not a safety net. What you can control is your costs. If your expenses are low compared to what you own, you aren't forced to act. You can say yes fast when a real chance shows up. My advice: 1. Hold a few different assets, not one. 2. Prefer assets you can move across borders. 3. Cut your monthly costs before you chase more income. 4. Keep time and cash free to move when a real chance appears. Low costs used to be about staying safe. Now they buy you speed and freedom.
