been thinking about why im still backing @quipnetwork and honestly its the timing of what theyre doing that gets me recent research around ethereum and other major chains makes it a lot clearer blockchain ownership still leans heavily on elliptic curve signatures and a sufficiently powerful quantum computer could eventually break through those assumptions what i actually respect about quip is theyre not just talking about this problem theyre building around it right now theyre already working on post quantum wallets and infra while quipswap uses quantum resistant signatures on both sides of a cross chain swap that gives this project real purpose to me its not chasing a futuristic narrative its starting the migration toward stronger cryptography while the industry still has time to do it right instead of scrambling later ill keep supporting quip as more of this moves from research into actual production.
