Most people associate fixed income investments with banks and large financial institutions. It's not exactly the first thing you'd expect to find on a crypto trading platform. But that's part of what @grvt_io is trying to change with Grvt 2.0. Traditional fixed-income markets are worth around $160 trillion, yet accessing certain opportunities has never been particularly easy for smaller investors. Grvt wants to bring some of those opportunities onchain and make them available alongside trading. --> Grvt Earn Tokenized fixed-income strategies targeting up to 11% APY. I wouldn't focus too much on the percentage alone. The returns aren't guaranteed and understanding where the yield comes from matters just as much as the number itself. --> Trading without giving up potential yield This is where things get more practical. With the planned Yield as Margin feature, eligible Earn balances could continue generating returns while being used as collateral for trading. Instead of managing separate pools of capital for different purposes, you'd have more flexibility within one platform. Of course, earning yield doesn't protect you from liquidation or losses on your trades. --> Control over your funds Grvt is building this around a self-custodial model, allowing users to retain control over their assets while accessing these financial products. For me, that matters more than simply adding another earning feature. I want to see how easily users can manage their positions, understand the risks and access their funds when needed. If Grvt can bring these different parts together without making the experience unnecessarily complicated, I can see myself using something like this. The products still need to prove themselves after launch, but there's a real problem here worth solving. #GRVT #DeFi #RWA
