Paris-based corporate planning software Pigment has just completed a $250 million funding round, pushing its valuation to $2.3 billion. More notably, this AI company specializing in budgeting and workforce planning has revealed concrete data: 85% of new metrics created on its platform are now fully automated by AI agents, eliminating the need for manual intervention. With annual recurring revenue just surpassing $100 million, its client roster includes major brands like Danone and Unilever, as well as leading AI firms such as Anthropic and ElevenLabs. L'Oréal has even migrated its global compensation planning for 95,000 employees onto the system, and NVIDIA is planning to participate in this funding round. Where corporate annual budgeting and headcount planning once required months of coordination between finance and HR teams, these new planning engines are now handing end-to-end modeling entirely to AI agents. The shift from tools to autonomous digital employees is unfolding in corporate finance faster than many anticipated.
