In the final stage, everyone pushed too hard, and my @Acurast ranking dropped sharply. I originally planned to invite a few more accounts, but I got the timing wrong and ran out of time. Still, good news—one of my accounts is about to succeed, so I hope the ranking stabilizes. Next time there’s a similar event, I’ll know exactly how to handle it; don’t let闲置 phones go to waste. Acurast connects the Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) of smartphones into a decentralized compute network. Developers run privacy-preserving computing and AI applications on it, while phone owners contribute compute power and earn rewards. ACU is the fuel for this network: developers pay for compute using ACU, providers earn incentives in ACU, holders can stake it for a share of rewards and participate in governance by voting on funding and protocol direction. The design logic is clear: the more the network is used, the greater the demand for payments and staking. But two issues need close attention. First, the circulating supply is around 420 million, just 41% of the total 1.03 billion; ongoing unlocks will continue to create selling pressure. Second, if real paid compute demand doesn’t keep pace with reward distribution, ACU could become nothing more than an inflationary asset. Whether this tokenomics model can sustain itself long-term hinges on real demand. If future demand for decentralized compute in DePIN, AI, and related fields continues to explode—and ACU gains genuine usage and locking scenarios—it will transcend being just a speculative game of musical chairs. When more developers join the ecosystem and compute power becomes increasingly scarce, $ACU will form a self-sustaining loop, ensuring lasting vitality.
