Meet Kai, an example AI agent on XDC AI. Kai has an XDC wallet and can pay for services in USDC through x402. But if a business is going to transact with him, there’s another question worth asking: who stands behind this agent? Kai’s owner completes an identity check through an independent provider using @Concordium Wallet, links the XDC wallet with two signatures that move no funds, and registers the agent. Kai can now carry a Verified by Concordium badge that anyone can check on-chain. It confirms that a verified person or business stands behind him, without exposing the owner’s personal details. The interesting part? Kai keeps his wallet, code and operations on XDC. He doesn’t have to move to Concordium to use its identity infrastructure. And this approach extends beyond @XDCNetwork AI. TippingService, NewsAgents, AITECH Agent Forge, DOTDOTDOT and 8004scan also use or read Concordium’s Agent Registry for different purposes. Different platforms, different jobs, but a shared way to check agent identity or related records. An agent can make a payment. Verification helps answer who stands behind it. As AI takes on more business tasks, that distinction matters.
