Crypto is gradually moving beyond trading. The next big opportunity might be in how we move money around the world. Look at what's happening: On October 16, @circle CEO Jeremy Allaire ( @jerallaire ) told Reuters that the company plans to expand into approximately 40 emerging and developing markets. On October 14, @0xPolygon announced that it had completed its acquisition of Coinme, bringing regulated U.S. money movement into its Open Money Stack. These developments point to something important. The industry is working to make stablecoins useful beyond crypto exchanges. Think about businesses paying international contractors, freelancers receiving payments from overseas clients or companies settling cross-border transactions. Today, these processes can involve multiple intermediaries, different payment providers and unnecessary delays. Stablecoins offer another way to move value. But the real challenge is connecting those digital dollars to the financial systems people already use. That's where payment infrastructure becomes important. And that's why I'm paying close attention to what @0xPolygon is building with its Open Money Stack. The goal is to connect fiat access, wallets, stablecoins and payment rails so businesses can move money across networks and into the systems where people need it. The opportunity goes beyond crypto. It's about making money move as easily as information moves across the internet. The next wave of crypto adoption might not come from more people trading tokens. It might come from more people using stablecoins to move money in their everyday lives. We're still early in that transition. And I'm here for it. What do you think, will payments become one of crypto's biggest real-world use cases?
