THE hyperliquid:native READ Time for this weeks HYPE read. Let's get into it! HYPE fell 9%, Bitcoin fell 2%. The weakness was HYPE’s own. Against Bitcoin, HYPE closed at 96,157 sats, its first weekly close under 100,000 since mid August. That ends a run of eight straight weekly closes above it. The weekly closes: · HYPE: 78.85, down 9% from 86.65, the second straight down week. The week ranged from 76.08 to 88.02 · HYPE against Bitcoin: 96,157 sats, down 7.1% from 103,515 · HYPE against PURR: 8.69, up from 7.78. PURR fell about twice as hard as HYPE, and Thursday’s PURR Read takes that up HYPE against Bitcoin is the chart that separates the two kinds of selling. When HYPE falls because all of crypto falls, the ratio holds. When the ratio drops 7% in a week that Bitcoin lost 2, the selling was in HYPE itself. The map, in dollars. The run from the 51.15 July low to the 97.98 high has three common pullback levels: 80.09 (38.2%), 74.57 (half) and 69.04 (61.8%). Last week closed under 80.09, the first weekly close below it since the 97.98 high. The old cycle high at 76.67 held on the close, after trading as low as 76.08 during the week. 70.57 sits just above the deepest level. The map, against Bitcoin. The run from the 81,522 July low to the 115,434 record close has its halfway mark at 98,478 and its 61.8 % level at 94,476. The close sits between them. The week’s low, 94,348, went about 130 sats under the deeper level, then closed back above it. Wednesday afternoon, HYPE trades at 81.84, back above 80.09. Against Bitcoin it trades at 97,042 sats, still under 100,000. Both levels are tested on Sunday’s weekly close, so a midweek move across one of them settles nothing yet. A repair would show up first in the ratio, as a weekly close back above 100,000. A weekly close under 94,476 would put HYPE against Bitcoin below the deepest of the common pullback levels.
