Privacy onchain is more than hiding balances. The real challenge is proving information is valid while keeping sensitive data protected throughout the process. That’s the direction @primus_labs is taking with two key technologies. zkTLS helps verify information from websites and exchange accounts while FHE enables computation on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it first. The technology is already being applied across different use cases from offchain activity verification with Kaito Pulse to continuous Proof of Reserves for Unitas. On BNB Chain, Primus is also powering a confidential vault built with Unitas and United Stables designed to let users deposit, transfer and manage stablecoins without publicly exposing balances or position sizes. What makes this especially interesting is the balance between privacy and accountability. Users can convert back when needed, while selective decryption can support audits without revealing the entire ledger. Primus also reports confidential transfers processing in around 90 milliseconds, alongside its zkFHE research reaching USENIX Security 2026. Primus is working toward infrastructure where data can be verified, computations remain private and financial applications can operate on public blockchains without exposing everything.
