Last summer, the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) issued its final rulemaking, effectively bringing into force the stablecoin law passed by Congress. Companies and other regulatory bodies have a 120-day transition period to adapt to the new system. The Genius Law is expected to be fully in effect by February 2027.
