Crypto is lining up behind the SEC's new token rules. Here's Regulation Crypto Assets in plain English: - Startups can raise up to $5M over 4 years by selling tokens - Larger projects can raise up to $75M a year with more disclosure - The token isn't the security, the promise to build it is - When the team finishes the job, the token graduates out of securities rules - State-by-state securities rules would no longer apply to these raises @chainlink, @hedera, @Aptos, @AvaLabs and @StellarOrg are jointly urging the SEC to lock this in. @BlockchainAssn wants the startup cap raised to $10M. Still a proposal. Would this bring crypto projects back to the US, or is it not enough?
