People spend years defending Bitcoin’s 21 million cap… then tell me scarcity doesn’t matter when comparing Monero with Zcash. Come on. 😂 $XMR: no maximum supply. $ZEC: capped at 21 million, like Bitcoin. How are some of you MORE bullish on Monero while treating Zcash’s hard cap like a footnote? Yes, I understand tail emission. Fixed issuance, declining percentage inflation, ongoing rewards for miners. There’s a reason behind the design. But declining inflation and a finite supply are two different promises. One keeps adding coins forever. The other has a limit. For me, the appeal of crypto has always included two things: control over my money and clear limits on how much of it can exist. Zcash combines a hard cap with the ability to transact privately. That combination is a huge part of my thesis. Privacy protects what you do with your money. Scarcity limits how much of that money can ever be created. Of course, 21 million means nothing without demand. A supply cap alone doesn’t make anything valuable. But if I’m betting on growing demand for financial privacy, that cap matters a hell of a lot to me. You can prefer Monero. I’m buying the Zcash thesis. Good luck with the infinite supply. 🛡️ⓩ🛡️ #Zcash #FinancialPrivacy #Scarcity
