Institutions won’t move more financial activity onchain if protecting sensitive information means giving up the ability to prove what’s legitimate. That’s the challenge @primus_labs is tackling by bringing together zkTLS and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). zkTLS can help verify information from existing web sources while FHE allows computations on encrypted data without revealing the underlying values. Imagine proving reserves without exposing internal balances, verifying financial activity without disclosing every transaction or exploring yield strategies without making positions public. What i find interesting is the focus on bringing these capabilities into existing ecosystems rather than requiring everyone to move to a separate private network. For institutions, confidentiality alone isn’t enough. They also need verifiable evidence that their data and operations can be trusted. Primus is exploring how public blockchains can support both making it possible to protect sensitive financial information while keeping verification possible.
