10 million CYS minted out of thin air. That's the number... a bridge exploit on Cysic just printed tokens that were never supposed to exist, and the team had to halt it mid-flight. Here's the part people miss: this wasn't the mainnet, wasn't the core protocol, it was the bridge messaging layer. Bridges keep being the weak link in this space, not the chains themselves. We've seen it with Ronin, Wormhole, Nomad, now Cysic. Same pattern every time. This is exactly why I keep pounding the table on POW. Kaspa doesn't have some bridge contract minting function that a bad actor can hijack to print 10M tokens in one move. The simplicity is the security. POS chains and their endless bridge/wrapper infrastructure keep handing attackers new attack surfaces, and the market keeps acting surprised. Not saying Cysic is a scam, team moved fast and froze it. But every incident like this is one more data point for why I'm long POW going into the next cycle. The chains with less moving parts win when things break. Are you still trusting bridged assets with 8 figures sitting in them, or are you rotating toward chains that don't need a bridge to be secure?
