Crypto was built on mathematics. But how often do we see the industry giving back to the very foundation that made it possible? That's what caught my attention about the Justin Sun Prize, an initiative by @justinsuntron. Justin once shared that mathematics helped create his wealth, and now he wants to give something back to the field that made it all possible. And he's putting that idea into action. 🔸 66 mathematical problems in the initial challenge list. 🔸 Up to $1M for a verified breakthrough. 🔸 Open to independent researchers, academic institutions, and human-AI collaborations. 🔸 Solutions must go through rigorous mathematical proof and machine verification. But what interests me most isn't the prize money. It's the bigger picture. AI, mathematics, and blockchain could come together to create a more transparent way to recognize scientific breakthroughs, where the strength of a discovery matters more than the reputation behind it. Crypto has benefited enormously from decades of mathematical research. Maybe it's time for the industry to help fund the next generation of breakthroughs. That's a vision worth paying attention to. @JustinSunPrize
