TRON and USDT: From On-Chain Transfers to Everyday Spending A new study from Oobit (in collaboration with TRON DAO) looked at users who made at least one deposit or withdrawal on the TRON network between March and August 2026. The data shows that the vast majority of these TRON transactions involved USDT-TRC20, not TRX. TRON essentially serves as the blockchain infrastructure that moves USDT (the U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin) between wallets, exchanges, and payment platforms. At the same time, the same group of users was spending through Oobit cards on everyday purchases. 💡How These Users Spent Among categorized Oobit card payments made by this TRON cohort: - Groceries and supermarkets: 14.8% (the largest category) - Restaurants: 12.4% - Taxis and ride-sharing: 7.7% - Fast food: 7.1% - Other food stores: 5.5% Food and transportation together made up a significant share of spending, showing that USDT moved on TRON is being used alongside real-world daily expenses. 💡Geographic Reach Users in the cohort who deposited or withdrew USDT via TRON were active across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and North America. This highlights how stablecoins on TRON are being used to move value across borders in practical ways. Overall, the research illustrates that stablecoins, particularly USDT on TRON, are no longer limited to wallet-to-wallet transfers. Through payment platforms that connect on-chain assets with traditional card networks, they are increasingly being used for everyday spending. @justinsuntron

Crypto was built on mathematics. But how often do we see the industry giving back to the very foundation that made it possible? That's what caught my attention about the Justin Sun Prize, an initiative by @justinsuntron. Justin once shared that mathematics helped create his wealth, and now he wants to give something back to the field that made it all possible. And he's putting that idea into action. 🔸 66 mathematical problems in the initial challenge list. 🔸 Up to $1M for a verified breakthrough. 🔸 Open to independent researchers, academic institutions, and human-AI collaborations. 🔸 Solutions must go through rigorous mathematical proof and machine verification. But what interests me most isn't the prize money. It's the bigger picture. AI, mathematics, and blockchain could come together to create a more transparent way to recognize scientific breakthroughs, where the strength of a discovery matters more than the reputation behind it. Crypto has benefited enormously from decades of mathematical research. Maybe it's time for the industry to help fund the next generation of breakthroughs. That's a vision worth paying attention to. @JustinSunPrize

Polygon OMS Supports TRON: Connecting to the Largest Stablecoin Liquidity Polygon Open Money Stack (OMS) has integrated with the TRON network, enabling fintech and payment businesses to easily connect to TRON’s vast USDT ecosystem through a single integration. OMS handles the conversion of fiat deposits—from banks, cards, or cash—into USDT on TRON, manages wallets, routes cross-chain transfers to other networks, and disburses funds back to bank accounts, all orchestrated behind the scenes without requiring businesses to integrate multiple third-party providers. Together, these two networks account for the majority of global stablecoin activity, with TRON dominating in USDT and Polygon leading in USDC. This integration allows remittance and payment businesses to access real-world liquidity more easily, while shielding users from the underlying complexity. The integration is now live, enabling smoother fiat-to-onchain payment flows. @justinsuntron

TRON is quietly becoming the plumbing of the global stablecoin economy. The network is closing in on 100 million transactions a week, moving somewhere between $150 billion and $190 billion in stablecoin transfers over the same period. Average fees have fallen to about seven cents. Most of that volume is USDT. As of Q2 2026, USDT supply on TRON stood at roughly $89 billion, making it the single largest home for the world’s most widely used stablecoin. In that quarter alone, TRON settled about $2.08 - $2.1 trillion across more than one billion transactions. Weekly active addresses are also pushing toward record highs, which points to real, sustained usage rather than a few whales shuffling funds. TRON is also widening the stablecoin stack beyond USDT, just as regulatory frameworks for stablecoins take shape in the US and elsewhere. Infrastructure first. Volume follows. @justinsuntron

A new milestone has been set as the total number of transactions on the TRON network has officially surpassed 15.7 billion. Alongside this, over 407 million accounts highlight the continued strong expansion of activity on TRON. What’s particularly noteworthy isn’t just the 15.7 billion figure, but what these numbers reveal about real-world network usage: an increasing number of users, transactions, and funds being processed on TRON. TRON continues to solidify its position among the most widely used blockchains in the world. Let’s see what the next milestone will be! @justinsuntron

Is the altcoin season coming? The ISM has just reached the activation level seen in the two previous crypto bull cycles. 2017: ISM surpassed 55 (peaking at 60.8); altcoins exploded +15,000%, led by Ethereum’s surge from $8 to $1,400. 2021: ISM hit its highest level since 1983 at 64.7; crypto market cap crossed $1 trillion for the first time in history. 2025: ISM averaged 48.9. Altcoins remained dead despite BTC and ETH reaching all-time highs. 2026: ISM finally held above 54 for the first time in two years, creating liquidity conditions for the next bull cycle. An ISM above 50 means factory output is expanding. Since early 2026, ISM has consistently remained above this level, signaling that businesses are profitable and real economic activity is accelerating. When factory growth stabilizes or climbs toward 60, it triggers a surge in bank liquidity. Once traditional markets absorb all they can, this excess capital flows directly into high-risk, high-reward assets like crypto. This is precisely what fueled the parabolic rallies of 2017 and 2021. By contrast, in 2025, ISM averaged 48.9—below the threshold. Although strong ETF inflows pushed BTC and ETH to record highs, broader economic stagnation meant no liquidity reached altcoins. Today’s strong ISM report won’t pump altcoins overnight—but if this economic momentum continues to build, it will lay the foundation for another such bull cycle.

OpenZeppelin is now officially available on TRON. TRON developers can now use audited smart contract libraries, safe upgrade tools, and the Contracts Wizard to build tokens, access control, governance, and other time-upgradable applications. The toolkit is specifically designed for the TRON network, supporting advanced use cases such as passkey authentication, supply control, role-based permissions, and governance. It includes integrated security checks and AI-powered development support, enabling teams to build, deploy, and update with greater reliability. This is a friction-reducing step for developers: leveraging industry-standard security practices while remaining fully compatible with TRON’s unique architecture. It provides a stronger foundation for DeFi, payments, stablecoins, and other onchain applications requiring scalability. @justinsuntron

How does the #JustinSunPrize decide which breakthroughs deserve recognition? It’s not simply about solving a difficult problem. The Prize uses five award tiers: 1⃣ Pinnacle 2⃣ Breakthrough 3⃣ Landmark 4⃣ Advance 5⃣ Contribution At the highest level, each Pinnacle problem carries a US$1M prize pool, while other award amounts are announced individually. What makes the evaluation interesting is the framework behind it. The assessment considers: 🔹How long the problem has remained unsolved 🔹Where the work is published 🔹The level of academic recognition it receives 🔹And most importantly, how complete the solution actually is In other words, the #JustinSunPrize is designed to recognize not just ideas, but meaningful progress and verifiable breakthroughs. A structured reward system for the people pushing the boundaries of mathematics and science. @justinsuntron

TRON near 100 million transactions per week: A stable backbone for global stablecoins The #TRON network is maintaining extremely high activity: nearly 100 million transactions per week. This is not a fabricated number. New analysis from @CoinDesk reveals that behind this volume lies a truly large network and TRON’s growing role in global stablecoin payments and settlement. In simple terms: users are choosing TRON because it’s fast, low-cost, and ready for real-world transfers—especially USDT. The transaction chart also shows a steady upward trend since late 2025, not a short-lived spike. When a blockchain consistently processes nearly 100 million transactions per week, it’s no longer just a crypto project—it’s becoming everyday value-transfer infrastructure. @justinsuntron
