Is it confirmed that this year is 2026? This morning in Asian time, Tesla held a launch event at SpaceX’s test facility in Texas. A white sports car first drove up a steep curve, flipped upside down and parked there, then used jet thrusters to flip back upright and slowly float down to the ground. It then proceeded to fly over a lineup of Model 3, Model Y, Cybertruck, and Semi—all of Tesla’s own vehicles—making the scene feel exactly like watching a sci-fi movie. 🤩 The mechanism relies on suction fans developed by SpaceX underneath the car, combined with a ring of cold-gas thrusters. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes just 0.81 seconds! Actually, this Roadster has been open for pre-orders since 2017. Originally promised for delivery in 2020, it’s been delayed repeatedly, and now Tesla says mass production will happen in 2028. A few years ago, Musk casually mentioned, “Maybe we can make Tesla fly,” and eight years later, he actually made it happen… truly insane. Lately, I’ve been watching the cartoon “Phineas and Ferb” with my kids—and now I truly believe Musk is Phineas! He can make anything happen. 😂
