Day 4 📚 | EMA Support & Resistance EMAs (Exponential Moving Averages) calculate average price using recent candles, giving more weight to recent prices. You don't need to understand the calculation in depth focus on how to use them. -Short Term Trading: 5, 9 EMA and 20 EMA are commonly used by scalpers and short term traders to identify trends and dynamic support/resistance. -Long Term Trading: 50, 100 and 200 EMAs are commonly used by swing traders to understand broader market trends. How to Read EMAs • Price above the EMA generally indicates a bullish trend. • Price below the EMA generally indicates a bearish trend. • A sloping EMA suggests a directional trend, while a flat EMA often indicates sideways movement. Remember Lower timeframes tend to have more market noise, while higher timeframes often provide more reliable trend signals. That's the basic concept of moving averages! Have any doubts?
