Last week Justin Drake called for "bunker mode": migrate to hashed-address wallets before quantum arrives. He's right about the urgency. A hashed address keeps your public key hidden until you spend no public key, nothing for a quantum computer to attack. But here's the honest part: hashed addresses only protect funds that haven't moved. Every transaction reveals the public key. And the 7 million BTC in vulnerable wallets can't migrate themselves. Bunker mode is a good emergency plan. Architecture that never needed the bunker is even better.
