Utexo brought Viktor and Lorenzo this time to discuss what would change if USDT returned to Bitcoin.
Seeing Lorenzo appear, my first thought was still UniSat.
UniSat has previously laid out a wallet, market, and UniHexa—essentially all the entry points for native Bitcoin assets are in place. What’s now most lacking is stablecoin liquidity that people are willing to hold and trade within long-term.
If USDT could be transferred directly within Bitcoin wallets and traded seamlessly with BTC, Runes, and BRC-20 assets, the entry points UniSat holds would become even more imaginative.
So far, no collaboration has been announced; this can only be considered an exchange of ideas.
Still, it’s quite interesting that those working on USDT on Bitcoin are now sitting down with those building Bitcoin asset entry points.
