Most tokens live on a transparent chain. Privacy, if it exists at all, gets glued on later. The transfer history, sender, recipient, and amount stay visible. @BeldexCoin starts from the other end. Privacy Tokens, also called Confidential Assets, are live on the Proto testnet. Hard fork at block 4,242,200. The token is issued on the network itself and inherits the same privacy as BDX. UTXO, like the native coin: sender, recipient, amount, and balance do not sit in the open. Not “issue the token, then figure out how to hide it.” Privacy from the first block of the asset. The stack sits next to it: a browser extension wallet and a Web3JS SDK. The chain is simple. Privacy Token, wallet, SDK, dApp. You do not need to stand up your own private L1 just to launch a private asset. What you can build: private payments, swaps, rewards, DeFi, membership access. Anything where exposing financial activity is the wrong default. Beldex used to build the ecosystem itself: BChat, BelNet, the browser, the wallet, BNS. Now that layer is open. UTXO is only the first step. Account addresses and an EVM sidechain are planned. The order is deliberate: privacy first, EVM compatibility second. Not the other way around.
