Very fair take. Many early collectors of digital art on-chain (on SuperRare, OpenSea, or Rarible pre-Beeple boom) bought pieces they liked, supported artists, and built collections based on their taste and culture. The key to building a collection is that it should represent yourself and your taste. As an investment, it’s an alternative one: . Don’t seek quick flips. Prioritize culture, displaying pieces, attending galleries and events, meeting like-minded people… and perhaps keeping it for your children or as a donation. Art on-chain, like a photograph, captures a unique moment that will never be created twice.
