Is the Stablecoin Rollup era here? Etherfi to launch its own stablecoin built on Ethena Etherfi @ether_fi announced the launch of its own stablecoin, etherfi USD, powered by Ethena’s white-label solution. This comes alongside Etherfi’s nearly $1 billion in Cash Card spending and over 100,000 active cards—providing real-world usage and a tangible customer base. Ethena handles reserve management, minting and redemption, and compliance. 👉 Issuing a stablecoin is hard because of three key challenges: reserve backing, yield generation, and redemption reliability. Can you integrate with banks, card networks, and regulators? Each is a capital-intensive, long-term undertaking. Ethena packages all the underlying infrastructure needed for a stablecoin into standardized services—customers simply integrate, without building from scratch. With white-labeling, Ethena’s revenue streams now include two lines: yield from its own stablecoin reserves, plus fees based on customer count and issuance volume. Ethena keeps rolling out major innovations—from Ethena Pay to now Stablecoin Rollup—strengthening its core stablecoin business with every move. Previously, $ENA’s old-school bear Hayes targeted $0.50; now he’s looking at $5. Standard Chartered sees $2. I’ll start with $1 😆
