Unfortunate to hear this. One important takeaway here is that keeping a large amount of funds in a single wallet creates a major single point of failure. A few basic practices that can significantly reduce the risk: → Split large amounts across multiple wallets instead of keeping everything in one place. → Use hardware/cold wallets for significant holdings. Keeping keys isolated from online systems makes them much harder to compromise remotely. → Use multisigs for larger amounts. Requiring multiple independent signatures means compromising a single signer/key isn’t enough to move the funds. → Strong @opsek_io matters. Understand what you’re signing, where your keys are stored, who has access to them, and what information you share publicly. None of these are a silver bullet, but together they can drastically reduce the blast radius of a compromise. Feel free to DM me for any questions or help. Happy to help where I can.
