💥 Two XRPL amendments are about to go live in the next few days: Batch (XLS-56) and Permission Delegation (XLS-75). Batch means a payment and the thing you’re paying for can settle in the same moment. You hand over the asset, they hand over the cash, or neither happens. No “I sent the money and they disappeared.” That’s delivery versus payment, built into the ledger instead of bolted on later. Permission Delegation means a bank or company can let a payments team or app move money day to day without ever handing over the master keys. Staff get the till. The vault stays locked. For a normal person, that is just safer trades and a network institutions can actually use without sharing the password to the whole account. Unsexy plumbing. The kind real payments run on.
