I’m shutting down Blast, but I’ll leave you with a post from the early days. Back in late November 2023, right in the midst of the madness of that phase. An incredible irrationality within the community: tons of people in crypto, massive views. Those were the golden days of the ecosystem. They launched with a pre-deposit and didn’t even have an L2 yet. In just 3–4 days, they raised over $420 million from the public. Around 52,000 users invested, and their TVL surpassed that of Base, opBNB, Starknet, Linea, Mantle, and zkSync. What absolute insanity those times were. That project where people were desperate to get in, seeing L2s as the new era of millionaires. I remember back then posting and debating with friends and colleagues like @LexMorenoCripto @TukuDeFi @johnN5c. By the way, I also recall John being unfairly criticized for talking about Blast.
