Saylor bought more Bitcoin. But Strategy spent six times more buying back its preferred stock.

The 334 BTC will grab attention. The $176.3 million STRC buyback deserves a closer look. 👇

In its latest update, Strategy disclosed:

• $28.7 million spent on 334 BTC.

• $176.3 million spent repurchasing STRC preferred shares.

• Total holdings of 848,000 BTC.

My take: Strategy is paying attention to the cost of maintaining its Bitcoin position. Repurchasing preferred shares reduces the number of shares receiving dividends.

That matters when your strategy depends on raising capital and meeting recurring payments.

Then there’s the roughly $21 billion estimated Q3 gain on digital assets.
