A few things every team should think about as they build: 1. OpSec + infrastructure security Security starts with your team. Train your employees and core team on security best practices especially tips from @opsek_io , phishing awareness, account security, key management and social engineering. Always attend important meetings and access critical systems from dedicated work laptops/devices, rather than personal devices. Your team is often the first line of defense. One compromised device, account or employee can become the entry point for a much bigger attack. 2. Multisig + secure devices You’re getting $100K in funding use a portion of it to invest in security. Get hardware wallets like @Ledger , use multisigs for critical funds and keep separate devices dedicated to work/crypto operations. Don’t use the same device for everything. Separating work, personal activity and critical signing operations reduces the chances of malware or a compromised device reaching your most sensitive systems. Frontend security Your contracts can be perfectly secure and users can still get drained through a compromised frontend. Phishing, DNS/domain compromise and malicious UI changes are common attack paths. Protect the interface your users actually interact with. 4. On-chain monitoring + incident response Security doesn’t stop after deployment. 24/7 monitoring can help detect unusual transactions, admin changes, suspicious fund movements and other anomalies early. And when something does happen speed matters. Have a clear incident response plan, defined roles and the ability to quickly contain an attack. Security comes with a cost. But the cost of not securing what you're building can be much higher.
