🚨 New scam alert – be careful with these trading bots 🚨 Everyone's hyping AI trading bots for @fomo and similar platforms right now. Some of them are draining wallets, and the trick is nasty because it doesn't look like a scam. Here's how it works: You see an ad – a restream of some influencer "trading with an AI tool." You go looking for that tool, find a site or a post, and they ask you to add a script to your browser bookmarks. That's the trap. It's not a normal link – it's JavaScript code (starts with javascript:). You add the bookmark, open your trading terminal (@tradewithPhoton, @gmgnai , @bullx_io, etc.), and run it. The script fires inside your session and quietly steals tokens from the wallet you already have connected. Why it's so dangerous: 🟢 You never paste a seed phrase or connect a wallet separately – your wallet's already linked to the terminal, and the script just takes it from there. 🟢 It's not instant. The script can sit and wait for weeks until your balance is worth taking, then drains everything at once. 🟢 If you've never seen a bookmarklet before, it looks like a legit tool, not a scam. One victim put it plainly: "I didn't connect anything, didn't paste a seed. I just bookmarked a parser, and a week later my funds were gone." How to stay safe: 🟢 Never add scripts or code to your bookmarks from strangers – especially if they tell you to "add it and run it on your terminal." 🟢 Never run any bookmarklet on a trading platform (Photon, GMGN, BullX, cloud wallets). 🟢 Normal URL bookmarks (links to sites) are fine. Bookmarklets that start with javascript: are not. 🟢 Any "parser," "AI script" or "wallet tracker" you're told to run from a bookmark on a trading platform is almost certainly a drainer. Don't trust every bot you see. If someone promises you'll 100% make money with their tool, that alone already sounds like a scam. Stay sharp, and always DYOR 💚
