The APAC Enterprise token meetup ran all day; I initially thought only institutions and VIPs would gather for a morning breakfast, but they were already holding a separate session at that time. Alongside Joey from Pantera, whom I already knew, I was joined by representatives from Further Ventures and Hashed. Since they are VCs, we discussed where the best future investment opportunities might lie—here’s a brief summary: Robbie: There have been many changes, especially on the U.S. regulatory front, particularly regarding institutional entry. There was a meme that institutions would buy our tokens—but it turned out they weren’t buying ours; they were creating their own. Dan (Hashed): We’re still searching for new parameters, as our ecosystem began from this very exploration. Joey: Previously, there seemed to be an effort to tokenize many strange things in crypto. But institutions require predictable assets to enter and grow. Any product that can expand its own pie is highly promising. Robbie: Institutions are most interested in tokenization and RWA. Another emerging theme is asset management on-chain—particularly yield opportunities on-chain, which are entirely new. While concerns around security and risk remain, movement has already begun. Another area is the intersection of AI and blockchain, which we still consider very early. Hashed: We’re highly open—not only investing but also actively supporting business development and helping others with tokenization. We’re preparing a Korean stablecoin; similar efforts are underway in Korea and Japan. Short but impactful panel discussion. :)
